The Third annual Hudson Valley Magazine Burger & Beer Bash brings together all the greatest elements of summer: juicy burgers, cold beer, live music and competition. The Beer and Burger Bash will host local restaurants whose specialty includes burgers.

How do you select the restaurants in the competition?

Working from a restaurants we come to find throughout our 40 years (which included asking you, the public, who you wanted to see compete), we invited a variety of restaurants to submit their best burger (beef, turkey, chicken, fish, veggie) for the competition. It is up to the restaurants to decide if they want to enter the ring.

How can I vote?

At the event you will be instructed on how to vote for you favorite burger, winners will be announced at the end of the night.

Help! I’m the only carnivore in my group of friends. Will my friends have anything to eat at the July 30th event?

We encourage the chefs to feature all types of burgers, not just beef based. We also invite additional restaurants to participate in the event with side dishes and desserts. Don’t worry, no one will go home hungry!

What else happens at the event besides tasting burgers?

While tasting the top burgers, you will have the chance to meet the featured chefs and see them in full action! There will also be live music, photo opportunities, relaxing lounges, as well as additional dishes, dessert and beer!

How is the winner of the event picked?

Each guest will have exactly one vote to cast during the event. After tasting the burgers throughout the evening, guests will submit their vote for the burger champion. We will tally the votes and announce the Battle winner, along with first and second runner up at the end of the evening.
